怀乡居Hainanese Delights Restaurant @ 1926 Heritage Hotel Penang

Finally, i have the chance to visit the very famous hainanese restaurant in Penang, thanks to my family, i enjoyed a wonderful lunch today. The Hainanese Delights Restaurant is located in 1926 heritage hotel, on Burma road, Penang. The environment is pretty cozy, and the restaurant is serving delicious Hainanese specialties, such as chicken rice, chicken pie, spring roll and the list goes on.

Spring rolls (Choon Piah) @RM6.20 per roll- One of their signature dishes. Crispy outer layer with awesome stuffing (filled with a mix of mengkuang, crab meat, mushrooms, cabbage). The rolls come with a special dipping sauce  to serve as an accompaniment.

Chicken Curry Kapitan @ RM17.00 (S), RM32.00 (M), RM45.00 (L)- It doesn't taste really yummy,  it's just taste kind of OK.

Crab Mornay @ RM13.50 each- Yummy,It's a very flavorful dish!!I like the presentation and the stuff served in these shells especially the creamy cheese~

Glass Prawn Kerabu @RM16.00 (S), RM22.00 (M), RM28.00 (L)- It just taste ok for me, not spicy enough, and less sour too..

Seaweed soup @ RM14.00 (S), RM20.00 (M), RM25.00 (L)- The soup is great!!It is cooked with seaweed, meat, carrots, green onions, eggs and a right amount of seasoning.
